Facilitators
Every facilitator on our team is an IAF Romania member who has been through hundreds of sessions.
The Team Retreat team has nine facilitators, all part of the Facilitare.ro team. Each brings a different specialisation: strategy and OKR, leadership, foresight and AI, design thinking, sociocracy, LEGO® Serious Play®, psychology, graphic facilitation. For a retreat we pick the facilitator based on the kind of decision the team has on the table.

Frequently asked questions
What teams ask us most often before a retreat.
Who will facilitate our retreat?
We pick the facilitator based on the kind of decision the team has on the table — strategy, alignment, foresight, governance, learning. For large groups or two-day agendas, two facilitators work the room with different roles.
What does it mean that a facilitator is neutral?
Neutral on content, accountable for process. The facilitator has no position to defend on your strategy and no stake in who wins the argument. Their job is to keep the whole team in the game and take the group to a decision it owns.
Why can the CEO or HR not facilitate?
If the CEO moderates, the team self-censors. If another director moderates, they lose their right to take part in the debate. An external facilitator solves both: nobody on the team has to choose between running the conversation and being in it.
What professional standard do you follow?
All our facilitators are members of IAF Romania, the local chapter of the International Association of Facilitators, which Bogdan Grigore helped found and led as president. Six of them hold chapter or regional leadership roles. That means defined competencies, a code of ethics, and a practice kept current.
